The sheep at Dancing Leaf Farm provide the finest fiber for your spinning needs. The fleece has long staple, luxurious hand and is a delight to spin. The sheep are sheared in April and October, then gently washed and carded. I have Coopworth/Romney crosses, jacob, Cotswold and Border Leicester. I also carry a very soft merino roving, perfect for felting..

I hand dye the wool in a roasting pan so the colors will blend gracefully into one another. .Because colors of hand dyed wool may differ with each dyeing session, please order enough for each project. Natural colors are also availablee: grey or white
