Join Annie Kelley of Kiparoo Farm and Dalis Davidson of Dancing Leaf
Farm for a one-day, fun-day knitting workshop. We'll be teaching various cowls, neckwarmers and wimpoles.
Annie and Dalis will be sharing their daily experiences of living on a
farm. Annie is a dairy woman, milking 60 Holsteins twice a day. She's
also a shepherd, raising 130 ewes on her farm in Maryland. Both women
are dye artisans, hand painting fiber in rich hues. Dalis has traveled
to Scotland, England, New Zealand, Australia and Russia, visiting sheep
farms, feeling fleeces and learning how others raise sheep in sometimes
adverse conditions.
Cost: $45
Bring a variety of needle sizes 6 - 10 circular and scissors.Dalis and Annie will have their hand dyed yarns for sale.
