Knitting Workshop

Saturday, April 30, 10 - 2
REUSE, RECYCLE, REINVENT: Turn trash into treasure: create your own
materials from disposables.

Everyday items such as plastic bags can be used to make water bottle carriers, tote bags, coasters, placemats, etc. Old t-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts can be reused and recycled. Spend a day learning how to create “yarn” from everyday items. With some basic skills, you can learn how to take a t-shirt and knit a purse or recycle a pair of old sweats into a gym bag. Bring along a good pair of scissors, knitting needles (size 8-11), a crochet hook and your imagination and you will learn the newest craze in crafts; reuse, recycle, reinvent. Class will meet on Saturday, April 30, 10 AM to 2 PM, $45.

Learn how to make a Mobius Scarf
